. . Subject: What world would you think is better to live in ? . . . . . There appear to be 3 plans: A. The plan of the transnational capital elites, a new high tech dark ages. B. The people in general, who as usual think everything will remain the same, which is not going to happen and anyway the people are not even trying to make that a reality either. C. www.socialism.nl D. Failing plans, economic disintegration in its totality, mass death, slowly recouperating areas/nations, potentially ... another 14th century Europe disaster, ongoing. Plans B and D are not really plans, the former won't happen it is merely a naive fiction and the latter can happen under any plan and is by definition not good (though in my opinion better then plan A.) B. and D. are non-action, in terms of will we only have to discuss A. and C. Short sketch of either: A. There are countless ways this dystopia can be done. A typical low ranking individual would live a life of hard work, barely no pay, virtually no security, 3rd world disaster conditions. Earth would probably be transformed into a series of blocks holding a certain amount of worker-bee people who are never allowed to get out until they reach a certain rank, and so on. Achieving higher ranks would be tied in with abusing other people. Nature would only be supplied to the worker-bees to keep them sane enough to work, and happy enough not to rebel en masse. The pressure is put on to such a degree that some sectors do rebel, all these specimen are culled by inbuild weapons. I'm not going to get into a lot of detail, lest giving the enemy more ideas then they probably already have. Culture would be directed to promote violence. People on the lower ranks would probably not get very old, perhaps up to 60 or less. Human on human abuses would be pervasive and basically what the whole day is about, who abuses whom for what etc etc. The higher ranks manipulate and control the lower ranks as a matter of brutally cold science of the Nazi/Eugenics kind. It would basically be a hell run by and for demons. People think they know exactly why they do this, it was a natural concequence of evolutionary law: peace has been overcome, it was a mistake. C. In my plan every person has a birthright to soil, housing can be build wherever the people in the area agree to that using a system of block representation and council democracy, referendum power, and above all the general free debate between all people. There would be all kinds of specialized free businesses who sell and trade their goods for their own sake, costumers free to choose what they want to buy, and the money system would be what the people in that nation want it to be, most likely a combination of cash and electronic as we have now. The nation would be a fully sovereign entity unto itself, roughly around the 30 million people. People can travel to other nations if these other nations want that, which is likely because tourism is profitable. The nations trade with each other, but prevent wage abuses to decimate their home industries. Talk and press are free, science is much state funded to keep it objective. General life is sweet, people are rarely abusing each other, war is considdered an absurdity of the childhood past of humanity. Music is made, individual rights are treasured higher then gold. The businesses tend to all be democracrasies, finance is directed along the general mass will of the people, to help the people rather then to produce profitable operations for self-enrichment of fund owners. Society is pervaded with a sense of awe and respect. The great incomprehensible miracle of existence and life. People think they know exactly why they do this, it was a natural concequence of evolutionary law: war has been overcome, it was a mistake. -- http://www.socialism.nl
