Risk of war once EU is cut up and national sovereingty rules ... because the EU proponents, among which top levels of finance and grand bourgeoisie strategists, may want to prove that the EU was there for peace by fomenting war. As long as there are forms of democracy practiced by nations it seems likely that a supra-national ruling class, if it exists and it does currently with the international banks and corporations, will want to defunct that by erecting an empire and ultimately a global nation state. Some people have suggested that this class reacts with trying to foment (fund) world wars if their imperial designs don't go through, so as to prove their point (of course nobody is to notice that it is the same people behind the empires and global nation state that are also behind world wars). The problem with empires and worst the global nation state is that they can have no democracy, and are inherently totalitarian, almost impervious to any change (but becoming more corrupt for lack of meaningful democracy), and unmanageable (causing dumbing down and standardization). Hence: on the back of an EU economic and political disintegration, we ought to keep a look out for any attempt to create war using the problems of that moment itself. They could attempt war much later too, I suppose, but the potential problems of disintegration might be a strategic moment they'd want to exploit. -- http://www.socialism.nl
